The snow has started already in Edmonton and with that comes fall and Christmas craft shows and markets. I love shopping local and supporting home businesses when I can, and the unique items that can be found at handmade craft shows and markets make for thoughtful gifts. Here’s a list of shows in Edmonton and surrounding areas between October and December. Some have free admission, a small door fee or advance tickets required, so be sure to check out the event info before you go. CP Holiday Train is Coming To Edmonton!
The CP Holiday Train 2016 schedule is out and it will be making a stop in Edmonton this year! Thursday, December 8, the Holiday Train will roll into the Edmonton station at 7935 Gateway Blvd. It is scheduled to arrive at 7:45pm and from 8:15-8:45pm, you can enjoy live entertainment. We have never made it to a Holiday Train event but it’s on the bucket list for this Holiday Season. Bring a donation for the food bank and check out this spectacular sight. Day 10: Thanksgiving and Thrift Store Finds
It was Thanksgiving Monday and I was thankful to have an extra day off work to get a few things done around home and to take the girls to pick out their Halloween costumes. While Kai was waiting for Chloe to wake up, she practiced her number tracing. Having learning tools accessible in the areas of the house that they frequent most means their curiosity can be encouraged and they learn on their schedule. After lunch we went out for costumes.
