Rainy Long Weekend Activities
It’s a chilly, rainy Sunday morning of a long weekend. Kids have slept in a bit (well one of them really, the other woke up when I did), breakfast is being planned, and the activities of the day are being thought out.

We are lucky to have many great indoor attractions in the Edmonton area. Check out ZimSculpt at the Muttart Conservatory, or Dinosaurs Unearthered at Telus World of Science Edmonton. There are many Community Recreation Centres with fun family pools, rinks and indoor playgrounds. Privately owned indoor playgrounds are also a favorite for expelling large amounts of energy on rainy days. Treehouse, UPlay, and Hide n Seek are fun options, but check their websites for hours and admission. Alternatives could include bowling, trampoline, wall climbing or drop in gymnastics. Or check out your local library in preparation of a snuggled up afternoon of reading.
We are leaning towards a cozy day inside. Maybe some family movies, lego and Kai asked to play a game, so maybe some card matching games this afternoon. There might even be some puddle splashing planned for before bath time!

Happy long weekend everyone! What fun activities do you have planned for this weekend?
*Please note – I have no affiliation with any business listed, they are only ones that we have visited personally and loved or have heard rave reviews from our friends!
