Toy Shopping Made Easy!
As the weeks of November quickly tick away and it nears closer to Christmas, the need to cross a few more gifts off your shopping list is growing. This year I’m aiming to have most of my shopping done before December, so I can spend quality time with the girls taking part in our family holiday traditions.
I have teamed up once again with Discovery Toys Educational Consultant Rebecca Moge to review kid favorites, and help you complete your holiday shopping in no time.
Two products the girls tried out this month were Playful Patterns® Heirloom Edition and Sky Spin, two more of Discovery Toy’s best sellers. To see my past review of Marbleworks and the Giant Pegboard visit here.
Playful Patterns® Heirloom Edition is a great activity on a rainy day or something fun to pull out when the sisterly squabbles go on and on. Bright blocks and fun patterns that vary in difficulty entertained both girls. Whether it was pulled out at the table or across the living room floor, they enjoyed the different designs, worked side by side and praised each other upon completion of their projects.
The second toy we tried out this month was the Sky Spin, a great toy to get the kids running outside. Older kids would have no problem pulling the cord to send them flying (recommended for kids 6+). The girls were able to pull the cord but couldn’t get it to go too far, but they loved running all around while their dad sent it soaring!
Rebecca will be set up at Delwood Christmas in November, 7515 Delwood Ave Edmonton, this Saturday November 14, from 10 am -5 pm. She’ll be able to answer your questions and help you pick out the rights toys for your needs. Order before December 10th to guarantee delivery before Christmas. Also visit her Facebook page to take part in a toy giveaway!

I love toys like these. I had something like the playful patterns at one time.
